Job Description
OVERALL PURPOSE:
To work in accordance with technical electrical drawings and instructions for fabrication of and installation of cable containment and cabling.
To ensure the electrical installation is in compliance with the relevant British standards including the latest revisions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To have a good understanding of the types of industrial EC&I work to be carried out.
- To understand and adhere to RAMS.
- To carry out duties in a manner that endangers neither themselves nor others and to ensure correct personal use of PPE in accordance to the site they are working on and what is specified in the RAMS to which they are working to.
- To ensure working areas are kept in a safe, clean and tidy condition.
- To understand and work in accordance with construction plans & drawings.
- Ensure the electrical Installation is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with relevant British standards including the latest revision.
- To attend and engage in regular toolbox talks with electrical Installation personnel.
- Travel to other sites and locations will be required
- Out of hours work will be required
